The CANOR CD2 VR is our new tube compact disc player unmatched for its brand new board design. In this series we put the accent on the reconciliation of modern design and high functionality. The large display is beautifully readable from the standard audible distance. The new product range is characterized by harmonious combination of comfort, workmanship and aesthetics combining with high-quality sound. The unparalleled tube wiring circuit makes possible to reach natural sound and great detail. In our CD2 VR we use 2x 12AX7 (ECC83), 2x6922 (ECC88 equivalent) tubes and 1xEZ81 as a rectifier diode.

The heart of the DAC converter is 24bit/192kHz Burr-Brown PCM1792A. In the CD2 VR compact disc player we use the Philips CD drive, model L1210/65 which proved good also in our CANOR CD1 compact disc player. New CD2 VR compact disc player excels the original concept with plenty of sophisticated features and technical details, which excluded him from the crowd of ordinary CD players. Precisely designed power supply helps create soft, massive and detailed sound deprived of any disruptive voltage. This was achieved by strictly separating the power supply voltage of all digital components of which might penetrate interfering signals to the sections that are being directly processed an audio signal.
