New CD2 VR tube compact disc player outshines most of the competition by plenty of sophisticated features and technical details, which exclude him from the crowd of ordinary CD players.
The unparalleled tube wiring circuit enables to reach natural sound and great detail.
The heart of the digital-to-analog converter is 24bit/192kHz Burr-Brown PCM1792A. In our CD2 VR there are used 2x 12AX7 (ECC83), 2x6922 (ECC88 equivalent) tubes and 1xEZ81 rectifier diode. Meticulously designed power supply allows to create soft, massive, yet detailed sound deprived of any interference voltages. In the CD2 VR tube compact disc player there is used Philips CD drive, model L1210/65 which proved good also in our CANOR CD1 tube compact disc player.
