Headphone tube amplifier SH-1
The CANOR SH-1 is a headphone tube amplifier. Its case is of 1,5mm thick sheet steel painted in black. Front panel is made of solid cherry wood with a quality paint finish. At the front panel there is a volume control , blue back-lighted logo indicating device activity, and a standard headphone output connector with a diameter of 6,3 mm. Input connectors are gold-plated RCA phono plugs. By-pass output is equipped with the same connectors.

Input circuits of the tube amplifier are made up of a 12AX7 tube, which works as an impedance converter. Next stage uses NE5534 operating amplifier followed by an output stage in pure class A. Power supply contains low-noise voltage stabilizer LM317 and capacitance multipliers for improving power supply filtration. Moreover triode heating voltage is stabilized and well filtered.

The tube amplifier is powered from an external adaptor . External adaptor significantly increases S/N ratio which we consider together with the musical expression of the amplifier as one of the most important qualities.SH-1 can drive dynamic headphones of 30 ohms to 300ohms.
